How long have you got?
Speaking personally, my problem with them is that they are redolent of the lazy-arsed overblown mid to late 70s US arena-filling Stones, which, let's face it, is never a good thing... The Stones have been responsible for some absolutely killer tracks: Sympathy For The Devil, Ruby Tuesday, Get Off Of My Cloud, The Last Time, Paint It Black, Gimme Shelter and so on, but sadly they have also been responsible for some tedious plodding balls-achingly dull stodge, and it is this latter style that the Black Crowes bring to mind for me! I don't have any problem with any band exhuming and referencing the rock n roll past ( how could I? I'm a Mary Chain fan

) but when the past they revisit is so staid and old-before-its-time, that's what I have a problem with....
